The City of Whittier invites
you to listen to 12 free summer concerts in not one but two parks. The good
time roll as you listen to Beatles Tribute, Salsa, Country, Disco, 80s, Blues,
Classic Rock and Reggae. Food, beverages and snacks are available. Don't bring
pets, BBQs and liquor. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the
full effect of Whittier's parks--they make life better! All concerts start at 7
p.m. and are free. Monday concerts are held at Central Park and Thursday
concerts are held at Parnell Park.

Stroll in the
Park
One of the most popular summer events is the City of La
MiradaÕs annual Stroll in the Park event. The event will be held on Thursday,
July 26 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Creek Park and will feature three live
performances, food, games and fun.
This free event is fun for everyone, and allows
residents to stroll through Creek Park and catch different performances from
different bands. Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, or blankets. A
variety of food is available for purchase at this fun outdoor event.

Are you looking for free California Summer
Concerts? There are thousands of them. Most concerts are held in parks,
at night. They invited you to bring a picnic basket, a blanket or low-back lawn
chair and listen to great music at no cost. Get relief from the heat on
cool summer nights with free concerts at parks, beaches and public places where
visitors enjoy musical entertainment ranging from rock and pop to jazz and
blues, Country Western to 50s, 60s, and beyond. Get out and dance,
picnic, romance, and listen to the music. Many cities have concert halls and
